TRANSLATION SERVICES
While none of our librarians are fluent, we have a few that can assist Spanish-speaking patrons and community members with basic library tasks. Librarians are also more than happy to communicate through translation services like Google Translate.

The library has growing collections in a variety of languages for both youth and adults.
The library has books for adults in English, Spanish, Japanese, German, Italian, and American Sign Language (ASL).
The library has books for kids and teens in English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, German, Italian, American Sign Language (ASL), and Braille.

MULTICULTURAL FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER
The Multicultural Family Resource Center (MFRC) is a non-profit organization in Jefferson, Iowa. The goal of this initiative in Greene County is to provide support for increasing diversity in the school systems, create a welcoming community, increase in population, support existing business, attract new business and gain employees to fill positions.
The MFRC office is located in Jefferson City Hall. Director Sara Huddleston assists with outreach, transportation, translation services, school acclimation, and more. Visit their Facebook page for more information on upcoming programs and services.
