Ink Society Writing Club

Saturday, September 20 from 10 - 11:30 AM (Thomas Jefferson Gardens)

Meet other writers, receive constructive criticism on your pieces, and talk about tips, tricks, and all things writing! This session is for writers to meet up and connect.

Friends of the Library Annual Used Book Sale

September 12 - 20

Browse books, music CDs, DVD movies, audiobooks, board games, jigsaw puzzles, and more for all ages. Become a Friends member and get exclusive access to the first day of the sale on September 12!

Bilingual Open House/Bilingue Casa Abierta

September 22 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Learn about what services, books, items, programs, and more are available for bilingual, Spanish, and English-speaking families, get to know your public librarians and community resources, and enjoy some light refreshments. Spanish translators will also be available.

This program is in collaboration with the Multicultural Family Resource Center of Greene County.

Meeting Room

Need a space for an AEA, homeschool, book club, or D&D session? Reserve our meeting room space and accommodate large groups. Review our meeting room policy here.

 

Memory Kits

A memory kit is filled with sensory items and memorabilia to help individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments reminisce. Items are curated by theme and include hands-on items and activities to stimulate and encourage memory and storytelling.

 

Community Puzzle

Did you know? We have an ongoing community puzzle in the Adult Department that anyone can help put together! Enjoy some social time while you work with other library patrons to finish our latest piece.

 

Study Cubicles

Four partitioned study cubicles with charging stations are available for use during normal library hours of operation. 

 

Kodak Photo Kiosk

Print photos for gifts, scrapbooks, genealogy, 4-H projects, and more! Our machine is compatible with your phone, digital camera, flash drive or memory card and can scan snapshots or vintage photos.
