The Jefferson Public Library values the time, energy, and skills that our community volunteers contribute to our library. Annually, over 400 volunteers donate 1,400 hours of service to the library, assisting with tasks like dusting shelves and moving books to reading at elementary-school classrooms and leading programs.
From teenagers with downtime between extracurriculars to retired people with downtime between grandchildren, we're proud to provide volunteer opportunities for ages 12+. This incredible support is vital to not just our library, but to our community.
